the only difference between Gumdo and kendo is, that kendo uses JAPANESE Words, Gumdo uses KOREAN words other than that their boht the same. there might be different techniques here and there though.

japan name is kendo.
korea name is kumdo.

@shabachi they are about 95% the same, if not even more than that. How do I know? B/C i do both!

Kumdo and Kendo are two different styles. They may be similar, but do not assume they are the same thing.
