Ford Raptor Jumps Henry Hill at Budds Creek Motocross track.

Want more? click http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GgEteLYwFZs Second trip to Budds Creek. This is after my Tomahawk jumps so I was more comfortable pushing it without air bag deployment!. After the front end lifted I accelerated a bit but front dropped due to extreme landing angle of the jump (of coarse the jump is not designed for trucks). Would not be possible to avoid nose dive on this one. I did experience damage to the front right corner panel in addition to the skid plate area that had already been beat up. Over time, with big jumps, I am starting to see some frame flex but it still rides straight and smooth on the road.

I have heard that the raptors been having some frame flex issues with its customers but im sure ford is figuring out a way to fix this but if not. There is places where you can make your frame stronger

even the raprtor have good suspensions, it's not made for jumps like this! It's not a buggy!!

With as much as this truck cost I could build my ranger to handle way more than this truck but it won't have the luxury this truck has lok

@FPSTed no u had to pay more for the 6.2 first off the 5.4 was standard dont belive me type it in the search motor trend tested it out when the raptor was introduced or is motor trend wrong too google also works wonders on research do some dont argue with me about any american new car or truck sold i know what im talking about

@DPense Nope. Ford never puts stock engines in their SVT cars. The first line of raptors actually had an a bore of .30 over on the 6.2. But when they failed the EPA emissions test, the engine was scraped and they started with the original 6.2. You had to special order one with the 5.4 and if you have the money for a raptor, you have enough money to fill the tank and wouldn't care what engine was in it.
