(Jan 2007) concert. It was awful.Artie's voice was not worth $75.00 ticket!Art couldnt sing & the band was awful as well, Art demanded all concert goers not be able to order a drink while he was singing.Just wait it gets better!we found out after paying $75 a ticket, we would not not be allowed to go to the restroom during a song,no smoking in the designated smoking area. When we decided to LEAVE this awful concert - we were detained because ART said no one can leave while he was singing.

I saw him at Casino Rama (April 2007) and he wasen't so bad, aside from cracking stale jokes. Apparently he requested that nobody approach the stage for autographs. People did anyway, and this 60 year old fan with a S&G album was shunned, as was I

Yup. It's true. Even the Pussycat Dolls were much more sincere and polite. In fact, I have worked with the following:

Pussycat Dolls, Lady Gaga, Nickelback, Them Crooked Vultures, Coldplay, The Kings of Leon, The Killers, Eric Clapton, Billy Connolly, Duffy, Green Day, Il Divo, The Black Eyed Peas and the Dalai Lama - Just to name a few.

And all of the above put Art Garfunkel to shame when it comes to their personality and manners.

Really? Well, I guess I'm glad I didn't meet him back stage at the reception following his concert here in San Bernardino. He came up stairs and then left before I could even see him. Ironically, we were standing by the door to the reception when he came up behind us and in the door past us to the reception crowd. I missed my chance to meet him but it's probably good I didn't from your story here.

I have worked with both Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel on their latest tour. Paul Simon is a nice guy. But Garfunkel is the most arrogant wanker you would ever meet. He put a young catering girl into tears (she was only 14) because his soup wasn't right. He had a go at me for asking how he was while I escorted him to his dressing room and he also had a go a nearly everybody else in the area backstage for various reasons. After that particular night, my opinion of him plummeted.

Art garfunkel is an old wanker who cannot sing anymore. He rode the shirt tales of Paul simon and was nothing when they split. He needs to retire .

Don't get me wrong he sang some beautiful songs but don't even waste your time seeing Art in concert besides being a cantankerous bastard on stage all he does is stand there thinking he's g-d's gift to mankind and sing til his voice cracks while in between the songs he reads his poetry that he written about 30 years ago then do a song read poetry then sing another song this goes on and on.

arty seems to have lost his way as well as his voice, but i still love the man. he and paul sang some of the most wonderful songs ever composed
