This may seem totally weird, but I love Barbra's nose. Noses are some of my favorite things to draw, and her's is so distinctive and unique. Okay, I'll stop being weird now.

Kenneth Mars played the other scientist, not swedish, something else :) He was so hilarious.

The whole cast was so amazing in this movie. I was actually looking for clips of Madeline Kahn and Austin Pendleton, and who's the actor who played the Swedish scientist? He is SO funny. Ryan and Barbra were incredible of course. Thanks for the great clips and Barbra's voice!

If Streisand had known she would be totally upstaged by Madeleine Kahn ("I am not a Eunice Burns, I am THEE Eunice Burns) making her film debut she would have opted out or demanded Khan's scenes cut. Streisand is good but Madeleine should be arrested for grand larceny - she steals every scene she is in.!

Ayn is right. Kahn is incredible. See the Special features on the DVD, Bogdonovich concurs.
And maybe this is why Babs denigrates this film. During production, she was upset that the script was not funny and that no one would ever see the film. On the contrary, it was a blockbuster.....
I'll take Judy Maxwell of Yentyl any day.

I've never been able to find that song... Barbra's version, at least. Any chance you could point me in the right direction?
(By the way, this is my favorite movie of all time -- props for making a video of it!)

Is if from "Just for the Record", a Sony release from 1982.
I hadn't seen it on any Babs' albums either, I found it through iTunes.
