Rafi & Asha - Humdum Mere Khel Na Jaano - Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon [1963]

"Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon" is a 1963 Indian Hindi film. The film became a superhit at the box office. This was Nasir Hussain's second production, the first being Jab Pyar Kisi Se Hota Hai. He also wrote and directed it.

It starred Joy Mukherjee and the Nasir Hussain fixture Asha Parekh. Pran played the villain in the film and Rajindernath had a supporting role in it.It also contains many songs of Mohammad Rafi beautifully sung.

This Nasir Hussain film had O.P. Nayyar as the music director, who had previously composed Hussain's Tumsa Nahin Dekha (1957). Majrooh Sultanpuri was the lyricist.

This film included many superhit songs like the classic Dekho Bijli Dole Bin Badal Ki sung by Asha Bhosle & Usha Mangeshkar and Mujhe Pyar Mein sung by Asha Bhosle.............

O P Nayyar the great! The maestro of the 'music for the young at heart'. His melodies are evergreen even after the lapse of 50 years. The sudden inclusion of 'saarangi' and the change of rhythm at 2:41 catapults you back to an indian vilage settings... And the sudden inclusion of mouth organ at 4:10 brings you back to the modern times and makes you feel so young and light hearted that you want to fall in love all over again :-) Hats off!
