If you live in a country with single payer or universal healthcare and you have benefitted from it, please post a video about it on youtube.
Americans need to hear from real people who can speak the truth. We are not getting the truth because insurance companies are spending $1.5 million a day to spread lies about it.
Please - tell your friends to flood youtube with real-life pro-universal healthcare stories.
Americans need to hear the truth.
Thank you.

I have been writing Congress. Only a few get it. Others have been bought out. Many people have been hypnotized to think that health care, as in Europe and Canada, is a failure.
It should be obvious, so obvious. Insurance companies profit comes from denials of service.Plainly a conflict of interest. Insurance companies were party to the financial meltdown and bailouts. They are corrupt & contribute NOTHING to patient's health.

I quit. no more. done. single pay or bust.
basic health care is a right. unless we're a bunch of fucking SAVAGES

Candidates proposing universal health care are inspiring. However, we need
to fix the health care system as well.
As a patient and a former employee (I used to work at a famous hospital on
Long Island) of the health care system - I have first-hand knowledge on how
the care system works in America.
Close to 100,000 people die each year in hospitals due to medical errors.
The hospital I worked at had too much administrative waste. There was
endless paperwork in processing patient information.

If they can move fast to fix Wall Street, they can move fast to save the lives of those over 22,000 who die from lack of access to health care. If they can fix Wall Street, they can give us HR 676.

Amazing what can happen when the profit motive is removed-just look at every other western industrialized nation.
They spend half what we do per person, and have health care systems that put us to shame.
Single Payer isn't Wall St., it's pure Main St.
-
According to Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) the U.S. spends twice as much as other industrialized nations on health care. Yet our system performs poorly in comparison.
A single nonprofit payer would save more than $350 billion per year, enough to provide comprehensive, high-quality coverage for all Americans.
More than half of U.S. doctors favor switching to a national health care plan as does the Institute of Medicine.
-
Money mizer you are under the misperception that Single Payer would cost us more. Dr.'s Woolhandler and Himmelstein of Harvard crunched the numbers. Single Payer would SAVE US AT LEAST $350 Billion every year. Health Affairs determined we could also save at least 101,000 lives.

Geeze, sounds like what is happening now on Wall St. You know, I lost trust for everyone now. I don't want Wall St. to have my retirement, I don't want my insurance co. traded there. They are nothing but crooks and liars and turned our nation into the same. Good Luck to you all though. Now we REALLY don't have the money for single payer healthcare. Wall St. totally ripped off our money for that now if this bail out goes through. These republicans don't care about us. only their pocket.
And look how fast the government of the people can react when they see a crisis -- don't believe ever again that they cannot move with appropriate haste.
A single payer system in the U.S. is possible and politically feasible.
