Better than stock engine and longer run times. When running on nitro one tank is about 10 min and on lipo about 25 min of running and more power. It was easy as I just bent a thick piece of thick aluminum plate to L shape (180'), drilled the hole for the motor, and tap the screw holes. That's it, no modifications to the savage what so ever.

This is only a 3 Cell Lipo.

Also note that I only used ONE hand to steer this and other holding the camera, thats how good i am with one hand lol

  • stupid place to put a esc and battery, thats 1 slow savage

  • @wraith8301 you know that i was controlling the rc with one hand throughout whole video? I didnt want to go full throttle as this was my first test and controlling it with one hand while filming and holding with the other hand. This goes very fast once it hits second gear but at first its bit slow for steep hill climbing. If i upgrade with a bigger pinion, my wheels will literally explode.

  • it only has torque

  • @therccarmad no it has speed too, way faster than nitro because the motor spins around 2 times faster than any highly tuned motor

  • @30GB didnt fuckin look it there bud

  • @therccarmad because i didnt rip it since i has controlling the rc with ONE HAND i will make new vids later on

  • @30GB good man put up a vid running full whack sorry 4 other comment bud

  • @stomp199 no shit, and why are you comparing the flux to this? obviously the flux was designed to be brushless and this wasn't, but all i have to do is get a locking tranny and a stronger motor mount then it can be compared

  • bet my savage flux xs would eat it

  • @mumforddale1 no i like 2 speed, since i need first gear for hill climbing etc and i might make it gas again one day so id rather keep the tranny also i upgraded the gears to heavy duty kit from hpi
