@spongeki wow dude NO!! joey is not repetitive. boom boom tap is all barker does in almost every song.. He just plays hard so he looks like a badass. this solo was nothing impressive.

ha i'm so sick of people thinking he is one of the best drummers out there: there is THomas Pridgen, thomas lang, tony royster jr, and so many others that he doesnt even stand a chance against he doesn't impress me his chops and licks are week and unoriginal

It's not about drum battles... Are there better drummers than him? Absolutely. Is he still a great drummer? Absolutely. The thing is he has created his own sound on the drums such that when you hear a drum track you think "That's Travis." That's what makes him famous - he doesn't play to be 'technical' but he plays to express himself.

travis was my fave when i started drumming still is one of my faves cos i grew up on him musically, ther are alot better drummers but this guy is amazin man all the haters that think he is shit u all prob were kissin barker ass when u first started playin drums, u all stuk up meuso's now lol, he is amazin at what he plays he plays punk/rock name a better punk drummer, and he is better than joey, i mean yea joey got the speed but to me thats all, he always sounds repetitive.
