Half-Time Show (Rice)

I'm lucky because i go 2 c.e.king high school and we actually marched w/ them last year. Sadly i forgot what team they were playing =P

Awesome! My favorite part is the Texas student section chanting "Scoreboard!" after the 7-point joke.

Rice did something like this to Houston last month. They thanked us for torching Tulsa and for all the holes in our defense at the mercy of their passing attack. Wasn't like their defense didn't have a ton of holes either since the final score was the 3rd highest total that week behind Oklahoma/OSU and Florida/Citadel.

I cant wait to see this band we are playing their football team in the Texas bowl. I have never seen a scarter band befor Im used to regualr marching. So this will be very exciting to see.

Unfortunately, Rice and A&M are in different leagues, so Rice would have to be invited to play A&M, and the last time Rice played A&M the MOB was held at saber point in the stadium by the Corps. It's actually a pretty famous incident, but they will probably never be invited to play at A&M again.

"Mysteriously, folks, we do share your pain. Since the last time we visited Austin, both Rice and Texas played bowl games against Trojans. The Longhorn family was blessed with another national championship. Unfortunately for Rice, our Trojans didn't break!" LOL.

Gotta love Rice. Some UT fans enjoy it, some don't. Either way it's funny and well deserved.

at the end of the performance the students were yelling scoreboard, because we were up by like 42 pts, and they were making fun of us for only scoring 7 against A&M, lol. It was funny, but if it was us (Texas) making fun of Rice, there would be so many ppl telling us how classless we are and stuff. blah blah blah.

Texasfan05, you guys need to grow thicker skin. It was funny. They were taking it lightly so should you. Chill out and enjoy.
