The best description I can give you as to what radiohead are is this. They are the gold of dawn and dusk. They are the winter of our life looking back at the spring of our lives with a warm smile. In a world that promises us nothing but death they are a reminder of the beauty between conception and death. That may not make much sense to most of you who are not radiohead fans but for those of us who are fans all you need to do is close your eyes and feel and you'll know what I talking about.

If you classify a band as being a "pop" band based on how many records they sell AC/DC would be one of the biggest "pop" bands of all time.

But i guess it just comes down to how you personally define the "pop" genre. we can all agree radiohead is amazing

it is so diferent, how u say so good :D, to be a pop band that makes a simple music (its my opinion xD) or to be a comercial band that makes comercial music to sell more records xDDD

I'm having one of the worst "off" days i know. I listen to knives out in this acoustic set, i began to cry. Not to sound cliche, but it really is beautiful in acoustic form. I dunno.. something about the lyrics in the song help me feel better.

@Nalc77 I definitely have to agree, sometimes I can't make out the words Thom is saying BUT, the power and the beauty of it is when I CAN FEEL what he is saying. It really does take you back with every listen. Timeless music here. I only dislike ONE song from their entire Library and that's because I felt like it didnt really fit them. and that song is Anyone Can Play Guitar. too Nirvana esque for me and my tastes.

I don't care if they are pop or not, they are the most innovative band of this time. And they actually are one of the few bands that I think will live the ravages of time! Does anyone know if they will tour soon? Their website shows nothing, only some concerts in America in the beginning of 2010, but nothing even close to Europe...
