As for Gail Neira, don't be too hard on her. She clearly didn't make the decision to cancel the poll and was left in the awkward, indefensible position of announcing it. Shame on the cowards you forced her to do this and left her alone to deal with the aftermath.

This just happened here in Texas too! They cancelled our straw poll due to "lack of interest" even though Texas is buzzing with political energy.... we have TWO cantidates in the race. Everyone seems to have an opinion... and as a republican I want my voice to be heard.... you embody the essence of what is broken in the GOP and this -WILL- change. Democracy is not open to interpretation!

I was at the St Petersburg, FL straw poll. They ran it, except the 20 Romney supporters (literally, at best) somehow produced over 890 votes. Guess who came in second.
