Pump as turbine project, 18 m fall, 5 l/s flow, 225W, 230V, 50Hz.
Ordinary Grundfos direct line pump with asynchron 3 phase 370W motor reversed to generate power. C-2C capacitor conection to generate magnethic field in rotor, and convert to 1 phase 230V output.
Off grid system with voltage regulator and dump load. 75 m long 110mm PE PN6 penstroke, turbine plugged in 2 of 6 turbine barels due to low water flow in my stream just now.

  • To recap, 1. Output: 225 [W] 2. Penstock: diameter: 110mm, Length: 75m, head: 18m 3. Flow rate: 5 [l / s] 4. Power: off-grid 5. Efficiency: Approximately 22.5% Right?

  • 25.5% degree of efficiency is about looks, the generator was used for the induction motor is going?

  • What is the length and diameter Penstock?

  • Thank you good videos. However, this micro-hydro is a Grid-type? Or is a stand-alone?
