Culture stopped running and slowed to a crawl in 86.
It co insides with the "greed is good" package deal philosophy that so many adopted.
I grew a beard for this century so that when i see a photo of myself there is at least something to date it with.
The first decade of the last century was slow to get out of their 1880s also,
but the twenties was a radical and unpredictable yet inevitable change.
