David Cameron talks about the importance of providing good spaces for children to play.

A UNICEF report published a year ago said that Britain is the worst place in the developed world to raise children.

One of the biggest reasons for this is there isn't enough good space for children to play and discover the world.

  • i am 15 years old

and the reason i think that the UK is the worse place to grow up is because kids seem to turn to crime to solve boredom. i dont think its got much to do with the schools, but more on the streets.

  • Maybe the Tories shouldn't have sold off all the school fields in the 1980s.

  • The school are now data collection agencies - Contactpoint

Tory run Councils are otaining children for forced adoption and making million £ in profit KENT

  • The school is at the heart of everything - the basic foundations of learning social justice starts at school - Old Gordon Brown has lost sight of the importance of education

  • What David says about the concrete playgrounds is very true... great to see someone looking outside the classroom.

  • I am 18 and I am going to leave sixth form soon. I can tell you right off the bat that what amanualgearbox said was right. Kids have nothing to do in the playground these days. Even I remember playing with Pokemon and things of that sort but it seems to have been phased out, probably because of health and safety. Anyway good job Cameron.

  • Ahhh, things weren't like that when I was at junior school.

I remember all we had was painted lines on the floor.

    Them were the days ;)
