Halo: The Zombie Hypothesis

Hypothesis: If Halo 3 Gamers are exposed to a cooperative situation, then they will either recognize the scene as unharmful, and assist in the effort because they are human, or they will kill all of the indicated subjects because they are zombies, and unable to comprehend the situation.

These experiments were run in actual matchmaking games.

Black Plasma Studio's is proud to present the Zombie Hypothesis, in which we test to see if halo gamers have the mental capacity to perform peaceful responses when presented with peaceful stimuli.

As you can see, the test proved that the majority of halo gamers are what we classify as "Zombies", those unable to recognize situations as harmless.

You've made your point David, LOL. However I believe the your experiment voids me being a zombie as we formed a congo line in Matchmaking not too long ago on Breakpoint.

That was awesome. If it was me, I would have joined in. I've often just been looking at an enemy and start crouching up and down and they do the same xD

We did similar experiments in H3. We'd go into a game with a really high level, high skill team and in the pre-game lobby we'd tell the other team that we'd give them the chance to lot be slaughtered if they joined our conga line and if they didn't comply they'd be destroyed.

We found that a lot of people played along. Sometimes for 5 or 10 minutes we'd get some co-operation but it never ended well and the opposing team was punished accordingly.
