  • it's always important to know your history.

  • check out his autobiography "the struggle that must be" the man eats adversity for breakfast

  • I need more of this man's view - not just on sports - does he have a blog? a book? I listen to MED's podcast and I've never heard of this dude - any links or suggestions?

  • The question posed by professor Edwards is one that I, as a young black male, struggle with on a daily basis- "What obligation do I have to those black people throughout American history who sacrificed during their lifetime to make my success possible?"

Currently, I don't have the answer. However, I am on a quest to find it.

  • What else can you say? As always Dr. Edwards is on point. It is going to take a collection of individuals who feel the need to provide consciousness to the athlete of today, especially the african american athlete, and the collections of individuals who deeply love the essence of sports to assistant in making the much needed corrections that will attempt to put sport back on track.
