he's not a baritone, just a tenor without the high notes :-)
although he surprisingly sings that song in the low key, and that is rather convincing in his voice. very nice and simple, beautiful accompaniment.

That's what I mean, but he's known as a tenor, especially as Evangelist in the Bach Passions which roles have quite a high tessitura.

Is it just me, or would Pregardien make a better baritone than tenor? I love his singing, but not so much his voice, if that makes sense.
