  • Caught Blue Sparks whenever I could at the Stanhope House in the 80s and 90s. Thanks to MiyaMakesMovies for posting this clip. Yup a great band. Sorry johnrulig - only have tapes (and an LP) of their stuff.

  • Stanhope house, Freddy's in Bernardsville What freaking great bar band. Didn't know about Tucker. RIP...What a showman he was. I remember him dancing across tables at Freddys. Long Valley Beer Fest!!!!! What a great band, memories

  • Ah...GREAT times... first saw them in Columbia, SC in the late 80's then I moved to Long Valley in the early 90's - Tucker's and my dog had an intense romance - I'm sad to know that I won't be catching another performance or talkin' critters with him again. RIP, my friend.

  • Tucker will be missed...does ANYONE know where I can get my hands on some of the bands cds, I had all tapes and they are shot

  • What a tredmendous band what a magnificent entertainer C T will be missed .

  • R.I.P. C.T. Tucker—you will be missed!

  • Rest in peace, Tucker. You brought a lot of happiness to our lives when we needed it most.

  • Those Long Valley Rescue squad shows were great..Danced my ass off many times at the Stanhope house as well......Damn I am old

  • danced my tush off to these guys for years! miss them

  • I first saw the Blue Sparks from Hell at Sloppy Joe's Bar in Key West in March, 1984 when there for spring break from East Carolina University.

I was later able to get The Attic to book BSFH to play, and they did so a couple times.

The only two bar bands I ever enjoyed as much were Skip Castro and Uptown Rhythm Kings.
