Will God stop blessing the United States? by Pastor Robert Furrow

When God saw the sinful state of the nation of Israel, He saw that it was because the leaders did not lead in a godly way. It would be tempting for the priests to blame the people, but it was really the fault of the spiritual leadership (priests) and political leadership (house of Israel) of the nation.

In an excerpt from "Amazing Love", a commentary on the book of Hosea, Robert Furrow, Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Tucson, compares how the turning away from God that happened to Israel, could very well be where the United States is headed if it continues it's course. Although once a godly nation, the US is driving God from its schools, its legal tender, buildings, and most of all the hearts of its people. God wants us to return to Him as He does Israel. But sadly, it is often only in our affliction that we earnestly seek the Lord.
