Part 1 of 2.
Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson and Sugar Ray Leonard.
Arsenio Hall Show 1989. I think it's the only time Ali and Tyson have met on a talk show like that. It's interesting to see Ali's reaction to Tyson, I think he has alot of respectable fear for Tyson even on stage. Of course the interviewer asks Ali the ultimate qustion - who would win between them?!
(sorry sound quality is poor)

Update: Have added subtitles as best I could, as difficult to understand because of poor audio. Any mistakes by myself, please inform.

Opponents never landed big shots on Ali in his PRIME... we are not talking about the Ali that came back after 3½ years off to fight Frazier, and Norton, and Foreman and everybody else. We are talking about the 29-0 Ali

Ali weighed between 212 and 220 in all the fights in his prime... and Tyson weighted between 215-220 in his prime. So i really dont know what you're talking about. Ali was 29-0 as a HEAVYWEIGHT before he was kicked out of boxing for 3½ years.

Ali also does not defend himself often leaving his hands down at his side. He relied on that amazing instinct. Ali’s cockiness made it easy for an opponent to land big shot after big shot. Tyson would exploit this opportunity and land several power shots. But the only thing is Ali can take those to the face and not be phased. Basically if Tyson doesn't quickly knock him out when he's open then their is no chance lol but if caught thennn idk ZZzzzzz...

In his documentary, Mike Tyson states that he studied quick exciting boxers and he modeled his style after them. Watch a few clips of Tyson throwing punches and you’ll see what I mean. Tyson would whip out five or six hooks and uppercuts in the blink of an eye. It was extremely rare to see a boxer beat Mike Tyson to the punch.

Mike Tyson was not the fastest when it came to foot speed, but he used what he had to stalk opponents and punish them.

Ali is the clear winner when it comes to foot speed. He had speed that a man of his size wouldn’t normally possess. Ali had quick hands as well, but his hand speed was nowhere near as lethal as his foot speed. For years Mike Tyson’s hand speed has been overlooked. He packed such lethal punches that few people noticed his speed.

Speed in boxing is measured two ways: hand speed and foot speed.

Hand speed measures how quickly a person can get off a punch. Foot speed measures how quickly a person moves around the ring.

It would all come down to if Tyson managed to hit him full on, he'd give Ali a run for his money but Ali isn't to be underestimated!!
