i have a blue parakeet....shes a right bitch, shes adorable, but literally will not stand for being pet or anything other than using me as a perch lol, love her to death cause shes mah fuzzeh, your bird is so cute too!

@michanzuki Well, Layna is turning 2 at the end of the month! Only one problem: She has started shying away from us! She seems to enjoy my other family members company more, and seems to completely hate me! Any tips?

oohhh what a sweetie! I have a red rumped female (with a little of someting else in her-she has some blue on her wings) she is mostly very independent, but I can give her neck rubs & I get kisses on the nose :-) Love the way she makes happy little thankyou noises when I bring her fresh grass seed heads.

how can i tell if layna is a girl? shes only 7 months old, and i dont know how to tell because she is a lutino, and is different than the normal red rumpes. can u help me?

aww, I hope I can get my female parakeet lke that too. Though right now I am more concerned about my male budgie having made an egg with her because she just lay one. Maybe we'll get a red rumped budgie x3;;;;;

oh poor baby girl....i totally understand that...my mimi lives in london i had her when i was studying there however i had to come back to japan for a few months every year and last year i finished my studying and came back permanently...as you can imagine how sad i was...my ex is keeping her in london and apparently he loves her too so i am relieved...
