Punto de Vista is now inviting submissions for the next edition of the festival which will take place from 5th to 13st February 2010, in Pamplona (Spain).

The International Documentary Film Festival Punto de Vista is an annual event featuring the latest trends in the field of documentary films. Since the Festivals first edition, staged in 2005, it has been inspired by Jean Vigos film and ethical principles. Organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism of the Government of Navarra, the festival is hosted in the city of Pamplona every year in February.

The next festival will take place from the 5th to the 13th of February, 2010.

CALL FOR ENTRIES
Films must be registered by the 30th of September 2009. A DVD copy of the registered film must be submitted to the Festival office before the 3rd of October 2009 by any means which confirms the sending. The Festival organizers shall enter all registered films sent before or on the 3rd of October 2009.

PRIZES
Official Prizes

Punto de Vista First Prize for the best film: €10,000
Prize Jean Vigo for the best Director: €5,500
First Prize for the best short film: €3,500

Special Prizes

The Audiences Special Prize for the best film: €2,500.
Special mentions: The Jury will be able to award up to two special mentions, worth €1,250 each.
