Every thing just came together after such a hard season. My crew gave me an awesome car to drive and I made sure not to make any mistakes. Best lap was a 2:03 in the opening couple of laps and then went into conserve mode to make sure we crossed the finish line and to claim our 2nd national title, this being our first in DSR.

Special thanks to:
ETE Reman
Moon Super Cycle
Stohr
HRP
Goodyear
My Championship Crew, Friends & Family

Thank you, without any of you, none of this would have been possible.

  • Nice video, cool cars and good drive... have you noticed your arm restraints?

  • @Haase27Kart, Thank you! Yes, we noticed the arm restraints and since then, have been paying much closer attention to them. Thanks for the concern!

  • great drive would love to drive a dsr. ive heard they are a blast. ive ran shifter and hsax a mg midget h production car but no money to race it great drive. congrats on the title.

  • @goffracing7 THANK U!

  • Thank you very much for watching and your positive comments! It really means a lot! Subscribe/Like, I'll be posting in-car videos every race weekend this season!!!!

  • Yes it was. If you watch the race on SpeedCastTV, speedcasttv(dot)com/scca/#/races/203, it actually was quite windy for our race and we took a chance to gear for acceleration rather than top speed. It paid off on the start and firing out of corners, but sometimes with the tail wind I'd hit the rev limiter.

Thanks for the comments on corner 1! I knew we were strong through there and I've had many laps at Road America, so I just made sure I left him some room and went for it! THANKS!

  • @LDOGGYDIZZLE

Good glad you noticed, I also had the same trouble with Simpson brand restraints. I used to race SRF and actually taped them a bit around my upper arm to keep them there.

  • Awesome driving...Im at Road America this year for the SCCA races. I'll see ya on the track at some point if your here this year. My non-high speed camera is looking forward to it lol. Good luck to you

  • That is badass! Next step up from shifter karts, these dsr are built nicely, they stick to the track so good.

  • Awesome run! Amazing how much turbulence kicks around the belt ends. Might be beneficial to adjust your belt lengths to shorten those ends just a bit so you don't accidentally grab a handful of belts instead of wheel if you ever need it.
