Jeff Dean now brings you a Supertramp Mega hit "Goodbye Stranger" done in a completely new way, on acoustic guitar. The piano parts and the electric leads parts are all still there. This one may surprise you at the end.

  • fine job...hard to do ...sing and play supertramp....yikes....

  • @bobblues4ever Thanks for the compliment. I get an occasional negative comment from people on this song (which I delete of course because my father always said "if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all") but the numer of views speaks for itself (I do not advertise this page or any of the songs posted here those views are simply from people sharing the video). Thanks again!

  • @JB0RG Thank you so much!!!

  • Great job! Best cover I've seen!

  • I would like to comment to a personal friend of mine who complains that I just "saw the guitar" when playing the lead solos. DUDE do you know how EMPTY this song would sound if I played the individual notes of this solo without strumming? Good lord man I wish you would use your brain sometimes.

  • @Juggertrout89 Sorry for the delay in reply. Thank you for your comment on my Goodby Stranger video. I don't mind telling you the tuning at all. D A D G D E (You Drop D the E string and go up to D on the B string)

I call it the Dadge tuning :)

    Peace
