  • A great improvisor and creative genius! There will be no more Eddie Jeffersons, unfortunately!

  • He had originally been a tap dancer, kevinherbert. Maybe that explains something about Eddie's great rhythm. Of course, he had an extraordinary ear and the ability to improvise at the drop of a hat as well.

  • Richie Cole and George Duvivier! Awesome comp!

  • Gotta love that jazz.

  • @Jgrantism

Tune was written by Duke Pearson, not Duke Jordan

  • i can't get over how much i love this tune!

  • Hot!

  • Eddie Jefferson was truely a master of the vocal-eeze. I though Luba Rashik was a superb protage. Sadly, they both died well before their time and left a void yet to be filled.

  • JEANNINE! :D
