This is an old audio track of mostly unrehearsed noodling from a Moog MemoryMoog. The original video footage was lost in a computer crash and unfortunately had to sell the Moog last year. But I posted some pics of that old beast instead. Enjoy. -g

  • Why do people who cant program or play insist on putting demos on utube?

  • @markboccaccio Hi Mark. Who me??? Not a fan of pointless noodling videos haha!? I didn't really click with the elephant in the room which is why I found him a new home. It's like a souped-up hot-rod that when you tromp on the pedal it goes everywhere but a straight line to me. Anyway, my video making skills have gotten a little bettah since then wouldn't you agree?

  • @markboccaccio Isn't that like saying why do men/women who cannot drive well insist on buying an expensive sports car? People do it for fun, if they learn to play or drive better in the process so be it. Some people like watching fast cars, listening to their big engines. Some people like listening to synth sounds, usually the older the better. Let him have his enjoyment in life, who is it harming?

  • Used to own the Memorymoog Plus back when you could buy it new for 1/3rd what you'll pay now. Heavy as hell, the heat sink tore the hell out of your arm when lifting, never stayed in tune.

Midi was omni only and had to use a JL cooper filter with it so it would receive on only one channel when sequencing it. Its own Sequencer was very rudementary but it worked when driving external gear, syncd to it, for song writing. I'd like to have it back, but I really don't miss it THAT much.

  • Well, yes, actually, i DO agree....you have gotten better! You had the misfortune of being the 23rd video on the memorymoog i saw in a row...sorry i slammed you
