@nadavno In the begining I was not to happy with the pairing of Richard & Maggie,Out of Respect for Chase

Maggie Had a great scene here! FC was a great show. In 1987 after chase left it went down hill esp when richard was found out to be Angela's son. They really Jumped the shark. The scene in this clip when Emma says "Oh Mother" Jane Wyman didnt flinch but she flashed Emma one look with her eyes. Angela was a great character much better than Alexis on Dynasty. Anne Archer ( Cassandra ) was good in this scene too..

But I did like the revelation about Richard & Angela being mother & son they where so much alike it made Perfect Sense if your here on you tube you will see the original pilot movie call ( The Vintage Year ) where Richard was not an outcast & with a entirely different cast !

@NFitalianGuy And let's not forget Bette Davis just couldn't bear how cheery Celeste Holm was everyday. "Oh shit, good manners" she sneered at her once when she breezed in with trademark "Good morning".

The ending of this clip  mas so drastic and violent of an explosion that no one would live through something like that let alone not be severely burned from the fire. Maggie just left with "amnesia" miracle answer for every soap opera. over the top even for a soap

@IDRIS1130 I always wondered if those rivalry stories were true or just PR dept at work regarding Jane Wyman & Celeste Holme & Jane & Lana Turner? Jane was the star & had the muscle to object so why would she give herself grief on her own show? Celeste Holm didnt like Bette Davis because Bette Davis started her romance with Gary Merril on the set of All about eve. Celeste was very religious & didnt like that Bette & gary were having an adulterous affair off screen.

@jmjfanss Exactly. They really Jumped the Shark by making Richard Angela's real son. During the 84-85 season, Richard slept w/Angela's half sister Francesca So Richard slept w/his half aunt. That stupid plot telling us that Douglas Channing & Jacqueline Perrault stealing Angela's son away from her made no sense. Douglas gives up his own child and heir just to get back at angela? It doesnt gel. Also maggie marrying richard and all those guest stars that appeared made boring storylines..
