This king cobra notices the gate behind me is open and slowly comes over to explore it. I'm glad they're so predictable, and slow moving. It's like they're deliberately thinking about everything. Some call this the smartest snake on the planet. It appears to be.

King Cobras are the biggest snake in existence with deadly venom. These snakes get over 6 meters long. The largest snake in the world is the reticulated python - also found in Thailand.

@cowboys9455 Yes - Retic. The guy said the cobras don't get all that excited about eating the reticulated pythons because they are strong as hell and sometimes get in some nasty bites. Eventually hunger wins though and the kings grab it in the death munch.

@thaipulsedotcom What are you smoking? King cobras aren't big enough to eat mature retics. A juvenile or baby. But a retic up to 10 feet isn't going to be eating by no cobra.

@HTHAMMACK1 The 5+ meter kings eat 3 meter retics regularly here.
