This is the proper technique on how to cycle the bolt on an upgraded spring sniper rifle. Sorry for the kinda bad quality and poor speaking on my part. I was teaching my mom how to work the camera, and only had enough time to do one take before i went back to campus.

  • thats not actually how to charge the l96 the way you showed is proper for some sniper rifles but not the L96

the proper way to charge the L96 is to grip the boly with all fingers and cycle the bolt the reason for this is because the L96 was made for Arctic combat which means snipers would be wearing large gloves (thats why the charging handle is so big) with the big gloves on they couldnt fit theyre thumb on the other side

  • For the real steel rifle that is the correct method. Not for the spring airsoft replica. The airsoft weapon requires a different technique.

  • I do it by using the palm of my hand to push the bolt upward, then just cup my hand and pull back and forward to cycle. Its much faster that way.

  • yes but much worse on the cylinder internals, and also once the weapon becomes more upgraded that technique becomes far more difficult.

  • well if ur in prone or ur trying to conceil ur self and not try to make your self noticable, my advice is not to cock back like that. unless u can sum how keep ur elbow down, be my guest. but most of the people ive seen cock like tht, their elbow raises, which causes them to be seen or spotted.

  • This is actually a very good comment. The trick is, when in the prone, be very slow. If you do it slowly you can keep the elbow down just fine. Also the slower you do it the less of a disturbance you will make.

  • Higher FPS doesnt mean everything the Maruzen has a better quality control then the UTG. Since the higher FPS and lower quality control in the UTG it probably will break first

  • isnt it bad to dryfire any spring powered air/airsoft gun ?

  • did the FF 150 or 170 get you an fps of 550? I just decided to pick up an APS clone and I am going to throw a couple things into it to get its performance up, looking to reach around ~550 fps

  • is it normal for the cylinder to get scrathed alittle from pulling the bolt back and forth ?

  • For those who think that making a video like that is stupid... People tend to grab the handle and pull it back. That's bad, cause you can break the handle or the cylinder itself. This technique is used to make sure that you pull the bolt straight back and not in an angle. Cheers.

  • who makes a fuckin video on how to pull a bolt back, is this vid for the mentaly challenge like the kid in this video

  • @PuppetMaster303 ...this guy in the video is a fuckin idiot, who makes a video on how to pull a fuckin bolt back?
