President Freeman Hrabowski spoke about the history of black economic empowerment at the Department of Justice's Black History Month National Observance in February 2010.
As a black woman, i am very supportive of black economic empowerment. I am fiscally conservative and socially moderate. I am a big believer in blacks owning their own businesses and doing for self. But intellectuals such as Mr. Hrabowski does seem to talk past regular black folks. All the words in not necessary. Getting to the point would be helpful. Using big words and being overly educated is not all what it seems to be. There have been successful college dropouts who became millionaires.
@RCF3315 You are really a racist white person who wants ignorance to persist within the black race, are you not? It is no way that you really believe what you said as a black person. You are a imposter that wants blacks to stay down...am I correct.
@visionimagify All of you ignorant people who choose to call this dignified man of learning an uncle tom are the reason why you and other large groups within our black race are dead last in everything good (education, income earnings, business creation) and first in everthing bad(crime, etc). You idiot ignorant people within our race!!!! I wish I could pack you all up and ship you out somewhere. Keep your nigga shit value system and just keep on losing. Positive blacks just keep on moving on.
It figures all the comments knocking yet another black person for being educated! Go to college for your PhD then come back and read the comments you typed! Better yet get your GED LOL. It is so sad that people talk about other people when their own lives aren't worth anything they have done nothing for the betterment of mankind!
Still a boule SELLOUT!!!
