Getting rid of the white background of an image using GIMP

In this tutorial, it will show you how to take off the white background off an image when putting it onto a different coloured background. Although there will be white dots around the image, so I will show you three ways to cover it up.

@KnittedBadge EVERYONE EASIER WAY AND IS 100% CLEAN AROUND EDGES!!!!! go to the colours tab then select colour to alpha then select if u want to get rid of black or white then it done 100% clean promise and then if u want to fill the bg right click on the layer and go alpha to selection then go to select tab and press invert selection then fill it with your colour
