@MrTerry1212 All we used on an 800 Cyclo was a set of trash whipper discs in front of the openers. The staggered opener design, where one opener runs slightly ahead of the other will cut a slot in almost any situation. The leading edge disc will do everything a separate coulter would with regular opener discs.

@redlinefarms If i had a 1985 International cyclo air 800 6 row planter. What would i need to add to make it a good no till planter? What brand equipment should i use? Thanks

@ACFarmer89 The cyclo planters use small cover discs to kick a little soil over the seed before the press wheel does it's thing. I am not trying to sell anything, but the cyclo got a bad rap lately, the early riser row unit is an excellent no-till unit, and it will do a fine job in any conditions.

How good a job does that planter do covering the seed?
does this planter plant soybeans and corn without changing anything

@yz250fracer0123 There is a seed drum at the front of the planter that has different hole sizes. This big drum must be changed between corn and soybeans.

It does a great job... you should see the crops coming up.
