Pico or micro projectors are becoming much more commonplace now. In this review, I show the Aaxa P2 pico projector in action as well as walk through a variety of its features. The full review of the Aaxa P2 projector is at: http://www.hightechdad.com/?p=4082

  • i'm unable to get movies to play that i have put on both the internal memory and the sd card. movies play fine through my iphone. 480 by 320 don't work,i converted them to 640 by 480. the sample video dosn't work anymore after i loaded a movie next toit. they are in mp4

  • I would suggest that you contact Aaxa. There is a very specific format that the files must be in including aspect ratio.

  • I am looking for something of an home theatre system with the help of projector and probably connect it to 5.1 speakers. This ones looks best according usability but the hissing sound could get irritating so i m confused in this three choices according to your expertise what would you suggest!!!

  • I don't think any of these pico projectors would be good for a full fledged home theater. You probably would want a larger projector that can handle 720 or 1080p. They are more expensive though. See my link to the outdoor home theater that is in the review for some ideas.

  • Does this or any other projector support DVI or Micro-DVI connections ?

I have a Macbook Air and would like to know which P2 works best with my laptop. Thanks.

  • Most of the Pico projectors I have seen support VGA out. However, when I hooked up to my Mac (as seen in the video), I used an Apple VGA to DVI adapter. I would think you could do the same with a Micro-DVI one as well.

  • hi... Como mejoro el contraste?

  • is it possible to play iphone games on this projector ? also what does this projector run on, is it possible to run it through a dc power source so i can use it for an extended period of time .

  • should i get the swivel or this??

  • t, VGA out, internal memory.

I guess if you need a picture that works in a lit room, then this one is much better.

If u want compact, dark room viewing, then the cinema is better.

    Hey "dad",

Do u know if this pico, or any for that matter, will let u use the iphones Bluetooth for the audio....wires are going out of style you know, lol.

  • This looks like a nice little projector.

Takingthepain...this looks like a better picture than the cinemin, but there is a few features that are better (IMO) than the one in this vid...ie this one has the fan, which seems like it could get annoying. This one has alot of crap that u have to carry, like a tripod. The cinemin has the swivel, so it doesn't need the tripod. The cinemin has an included iPod/iPhone connector. The charging method on this one looks bulky. This one has the sd slot, V

  • Would you say this projector or the cinemin swivel is better?

  • where do you get the ipod cable?

  • how do u set it up with the iphone

  • Hi, would I be able to use it with an HP tablet? I make a lot of presentations in India and they don't always have projectors so I end up using overheads or just give handouts. If this one would not work, do you know any other similar products that would work? Thank you.
