This engine gets 6 litres to 100kms, which for the power plant of a standard sedan is awesome,using variable valve mechanics,moving to eliminate the camshaft altogether. Although I would be interested in seeing a car prototype using a catalyst style fuel cell powered car. Preferably with the motors housed in the wheels using a computer to balance power distribution. I can only imagine what the figures of efficiency would be with such a prototype.

hmmm --- hoax. there´s a stock 1.8L turbo engine as good as this pseudo-technik engine. diesel and otto-engine united. pah. just because the there is a self-ignition at slow rotation... lol fakers !

This is good, but way too complicated. Who is going to fix this monster? Variable valve timing, variable lifters, two turbo chargers and what not. The combustion engine is dead! Put this research to rest and rather research battery technology, capacitors, fast charging, solar roofs etc. This is just complicated crap and nobody will want to buy a used car like that, it will cost a fortune to fix.
