The bell rings right after, and who here can’t imagine what’s going through Moore’s head as his corner hurries him to sit down and rest.

Much respect to A. Moore, most fighters would have sold-out convinced that the war and toll on their bodies just isn’t worth it.

Although there are numerous amazing moments to analyse in this fight, take a good look at this one:

At around 6.08 minutes into the vid Moore slips off the ropes after Marciano was pressing him, Marciano follows, and Moore is back-peddling and countering,

now check out the amazingly fluid sneaky left punch thrown by Moore at about 6.14 in the vid, I am convinced that left would have floored most opponents!

unbelievable, Rocky absorbs it.

I totally know what you mean. You can dance and finesse and pick-apart Marciano early, even knock him down, but when he doesn't stay down it kind of seems that all you have left is to out-box him and hope to go the distance and win by decision.

I grew up studying and believing a style like A. Moore is better than a brawler, but simply put, Marciano reminds us that a relentless tank is one tough machine, lol
