Thanks for this excellent video. You cleared up a few of the questions i had regrading the differences between Grand Central and Open CL.

btw, good video mrbit, I liked how you took a really open minded approach.

Microsoft has had multi core management for quite some time. Microsoft is patching all of their operating systems so developers can take advantage of multicore technologies on all OSs.

its not the cost whatsoever its just the fact of weather its a better os. which i believe it is soo ehhh w/e.

it is pretty cheap to get the SL, so why you worry? 30$ for the older versions 10$ for leopard, it is almost a give away.

can u send me a ativirus

snow leopard and 7 both impress the hell out of me. I am glad that they decided to improve the things that matter in these os instead of trying to just throw pointless toys at you.
i will use and buy both (i have allready preordered snow leopard) and install both on all my machines
peace

I just pre ordered snow leopard and im looking at a bunch of videos to really look at what i bought lol, your video did the best justice. i would just like to know is it worth it to upgrade it to SL because i saw on cnet that times for apps are slower? im kinda confused.

yea quite a few 32 bit apps can under perform and actually use more memory than need be. it is a result of running 32 on 64

There are not much of an upgrade for the end users, since all these technologies are mainly for developers. Even OpenCL sounds good but if no app make use of it hmmm I think most people won't see the different between leopard and snow. I wonder if all the Intel mac does support OpenCL?

true, if the apps are not written for it, you do not get the benefit.
