Sunflowers and Beans Growing, Time-Lapse Animation

Over 3 days and 2 nights. One frame every 5 minutes. 60 Watt bulb overhead for continuous growth. 2 suflowers on the left, 2 and then 3 beans on the right. Sunflower 2 throws off his shell, which lands in the beans' pot. The 3rd bean sprouted by surprise. The search/fight for light is interesting. The blue light of day appears on the left through a frosted window. The fight at night is more active as the taller bean plant blocks the lightbulb with its leaves.

From the time I put them in the soil? I didn't bother to document that. But, since 1 second of the animation equals 2 real hours of growth, you can calculate the actual time. The images were recorded from the afternoon of "day 1" to the morning of "day 3."
