ok try to turn the screw back to where it was and one other thing boosting the pot will
suck your batteries dry in about ten minutes so yeah. however i do believe if you can
find the right size watch batteries, through about however many you can fit in your laser.
because 2 AAA is only 3v and 10 to 12 watch batterys has about 9v+ or so and if none
of that works......time to buy a new laser

All you need to do is to screw it back t where it normally was. You only turn the pot maximum 1 qrtr. Or else it turns infra red (as just eat happened)

Try to turn the pot back where it was before.

There should be a reddish violet lens that fell out. Also its called a "pot" mod because pot is short for potentiometer
