The most-anticipated match of the year became the most-watched match of the year. After EPIC WAR promoter Gary Yap made inflammatory statements about this match before it happened, WILD Owner Travis Leland made the decision to do this match anyway.
WILD North American Champion Terra Calaway challenges WILD World Champion Winter in a fantastic bout at EPIC WAR's return show in Long Beach, CA.

How do we know that Yap was completely and utterly WRONG? Here are some reviews of the match by fans in attendance...
Shawn Kloth - "Last night I had the honor of bearing witness to two of the BEST female wrestlers on the planet. WILD (World Independent Ladies Division) Champion Winter taking on the WILD North American Champion Tera Callaway in a no DQ match! From there entrances to the final bell these Wild warriors stole the show and showed Southern California as well as Gary Yap directly why they are not "clothed porn stars" as he calls them. Both ladies went back and forth as Winter showed her dominance why she is the champion by making Tera pass out with doing a boston crab bent over a chair on Teras back!! This whole match had lots of action in and out of the ring and a few chair shots thrown in as well. Without question this was the BEST match of the night and WILD showed why they are a force to be recond with in the very near future!"
www.divasofdestruction.com - "A nice match and Calaway showed some impressive stuff here against the veteran Winter, and matches liken this can only improve Calaway's standing in the wrestling world as she learns and improves. Again, the match is ruined by downright horrific commentary from EPIC WAR's owner and if this was the last WILD match for that company, then I don't think it will be WILD's loss at all."
Hollywood'sGreatest - "The show was good, Was weird being at an indy show that other then Terra, Winter, & New Jack I had never heard of anyone else. Most of the shows I do go to, usually use all the same guys from each other's feds. Terra & Winter put on a 5 star match. Definitely the match of the night, I really think the WWE dropped the ball on Winter."
Ewanni - "I wanted to state that the reason why I went to the Epic event on December 10 this year was Winter. It wasn't someone in Epic or anyone else in the event card. It was Winter. Otherwise, I wouldn't have attended. Nothing against the rest of the wrestlers and I enjoyed the event itself. But Winter is what compelled me to attend. And at the event is when I first saw Terra Calaway and I hope to see her in more matches too.

The one on December 10 was the first one I attended in a long time. Now I have a number of reasons why I'd be interested in attending local wrestling events. Those reasons are Winter, Terra, and any WILD events/matches. I would also go to see anyone else from Impact Wrestling, especially ODB, Tara, Sarita, and Mickie James if it's possible to book them. If not, I would still attend any WILD matches/events.
Someone commented on at Gary Yap's request and said that TNA does not draw to their own shows and asks what made Yap think a female from TNA would draw a crowd. Again, I don't want to be caught up in stuff. But I for one went to the show specifically to see Winter wrestle. Yes I'm just one person, not a crowd. But the total size of the crowd there wasn't that big. I don't know exactly how many paid to attend. But one individual like me did comprise an at least somewhat significant fraction of the paying crowd there. A fraction of the audience came to see Winter. So speaking as a wrestling fan, I would pay to see Winter and other WILD wrestlers."
