  • Thanks for keeping up after all these years! I haven't been on here in a while myself and I am just now catching up on everyone's videos! I think a good topic to discuss would be what you eat now after 3 years post-op. I personally would like to know because I am having a difficult time finding foods to get my body going again as far as loosing weight. I have been at this same weight for over 6 months or more and I know you had the same problem.

  • @croyall23 heeey! i know you. =) lol. i just did that video a couple of months i guess before i did this video, if you look back. i think it was "answering questions" or something. and it's pretty detailed.

  • I'm glad that you are feeling and thinking better about things . I think that's important, and helps a lot of other people. You are a success story to other WLS people. I know that you are to myself.

I think that you need to talk to your husband about these issues.

I was thinking that maybe you could make a video of you modeling some of your new clothes, as you did in past videos.

  • @starmlk what makes you think that my husband and i don't talk about these things? we have... to death. for years, in fact. and he just doesn't want to listen. there comes a point where you just can't force someone to listen or do something they don't want to do. you can't force anyone to do anything. all you can do is talk to them and they choose whether they want to change or not. i talk about it and then it's not my problem anymore.

i just posted a new picture video.

  • Thank you for discussing your relationship with your husband a little bit. I'm still pre-op and one of my biggest concerns is that I may be more social afterward and my fiancee may not. He's not as outgoing as I am currently and it's been bugging me lately to think that he may not want to go out and have fun as much as me. I want to keep him included in my life, but I'm worried it's going to challenge us. Has it been a challenge for you? If that's TMI to discuss that's fine ;o)

  • @Annabelle78 yeah, it's very much a challenge for us. 1, we don't have the same friends. 2, he doesn't like the same things as i do. 3, he's just not social anyway. he prefers just us going out to dinner and a movie. i want a huge group of friends to go to a show or club or amusement park or a day trip. he gets anxious in social situations. so, i usually just go with my friends to shows and he stays home. we don't do much together anymore.
