I was always jelaous on SM for all those codexes...Why isn´t World Eaters codex...or Emperors children...Iron Warriors or at least for the biggest of chaos armies-Black Legion....shame.
Still I already picked my army... :)

I choose Black Templars, already got the codex and gotta say, these guys are fucking AWESOME
They don't retreat, fall under poor morale, and get some really good independent characters
(Emperors Champion, High Marshalls, etc...)
And not to mention the crusader squads!

@KeeperoftheFortress blood angels seem to be too over used. but they are of more a melee based and jumpy as in terms of movement. but yes, they are cool. i personally like Raven Gaurd, but thats just me

@MegaElite25 i saw a pre-heresy army as 2 Librarians and alot of Stermguard(supposedly magic enhanced rounds and such) with Scouts as troops

but the spacemarines arn't an army- spacemarines are what they are... Black templars are a chapter (army) but the name Spacemarine is just what each chapter goes under....

@xYarvelx True. but we are looking at picking a space marine army based on the codex. So it really does not matter especially since the Space Marine Codex (Generic one) represents a multitude of different chapters

I am going to start with space marines because they are the best looking and I love blue. But should I get a rhino or vindicator or a landraider

@onedrummingmonkey Depends on play style. A rhino will probably always be used by some force in your army though.

@MegaElite25 Not directly. But you could do one with it. Taking Librarians as HQs and fielding appropriate squads.
