This is me singing "Anthem" from the musical Chess. I like this song because the tension and emotion builds up slowly and has a great (and challenging) ending. This is a tenor song, so I transposed it down a bit into my range.

Please rate it if you like it. And check out my channel for more of my singing.

  • chills. Right up and down my spine. thank you.

  • outstanding :)

  • @ferrari20669 I'm actually a bass, so the F is the top of my range actually. I know how to modulate between head and chest voice to sound more like a baritone, but my voice is in the bass range (D2-F4).

  • You really do a lot of great stuff on here, but don't wuss out man. I myself am a lyric baritone, so I understand the desire to transpose this song (although I wouldn't go so far to say it's a tenor piece)...if I may be so bold, I'd really like to hear you sing Stars from Les Miserables...the piece itself has an easy range only going as high as an E natural, and you hit 4 of those in this piece so you shouldn't have to transpose it...if you don't take requests, then I understand...

  • Pretty good - but may I offer some advice as a voice teacher? In your attempt to "tenderize" your voice, you're holding back too much, and your performance power suffers a little. The result is that you're sort of talking on pitch rather than actually singing the notes fully. Put some more breath pressure behind your sound throughout, as if you're singing on one long exhalation of the air without collapsing all your chest/stomach muscles. Basically, you just need some more support. Gd lck!

  • this is really good. really, keep singing and maybe it will take you to the stage.

  • You make me think of a baritone Josh Groban, wich of corse is great. He might have to look out ; ) But the musicals original Anthony, swedish Tommy Körberg, is still way ahead of you. But then again, who knows...

  • awesome

  • wow - brilliant dude, I was totally blown away. You are great.

  • I have to say that this is one of my fav song of the show, maybe THE fav.. and you really did it justice!! Congratulations.. Your voice is really beautiful!! ;D
