Absolutely, that's an option! Since I do a lot of kumihimo, though, the foam plate makes more sense (for me). But any way you choose to do it, glad you like the kumihimo! :)

Thank you so much!! I have looked over at all the other Kumihimo braiding here on Youtube, and I say that this is the best tutorial. I just bought my first Kumi disk today at a bead show, and this video is AWESOME to teach me my first braid!
