VA Youth Volunteer of the Year--high school senior Marwah Ahmed--has volunteered at the Washington, D.C. VA Medical Center since she was 13. Shes served in many areas, from lab and research to the directors office, and plans to pursue a medical career. Just saw this segment on the Pentagon Channel. This young woman is a wonderful example of the good that today's youth can do. I don't know her and yet my heart swelled with pride & gratitude at hearing her story of volunteer work for the dept of VA. Thanks to our Veterans and thanks to this young woman for her dedication to them.
