I don't remember much from a very young age. But there's one memory that I remember, but I was only a few months old and there is no picture of that person (He or she was dead on a bed) and I never met that person before that day. And my parents have never spoken about it (until a few months ago and they didn't believe me) and my sister who was 5 or 6 at the time doesn't remember. But I, who was only a few months old, do! I even remember crying because my sister got candy and I didn't.

There has been much research conducted to show why this is false. Long-term memory is consolidated by what passes through the short-term memory and if you look further into a phenomena known as 'childhood amnesia' you will see the explanation for why we cannot remember our birth. At first it was thought it might be too traumatic, a repressed memory - but psychologists have discovered that the episodic memory which records those events does not come into play that early.

Interesting, I also remember being very young and being in diapers and remember at just a few months old my family taking a trip out of state. I also have some past and possibly future wife memories. Who's to say does she remember anything else question that this life that we are living in now is in our last.

I wonder how this child would know what a planet is. What scope of reference does she have? She's only 2. Listen to the little ones. We can learn something. I have a few birth memories and they have stayed with me... and I'm 60! I remember seeing earth from space. No, I'm not nuts. We all have much to learn.

Yup. Kids sure are dumb.

Too cute!
These are not open-ended questions, and she's not remembering, she's making things up because she knows you want to hear something. You're leading her and she knows it.

Is the "planet", the egg? And the noise is the beating of he hart? It'sreally hard to take her seriously when she's picking her nose.
