John, why cant u just use one or two amps and stop making this guys job a living hell
-
guys...he just put the rig together...I'm sure a month from now things will look a lot better...didn't you hear him say that the rig was leaving for europe the next day? you don't exactly have all that much time to sit there for hours soldering, making all lengths of cables, etc...mark snyder knows what he's doing and always seems to get great results for petrucci...otherwise I'm sure petrucci would've very kindly and professionally found another guy to work with
-
@funkybrews I agree whole heartedly! I've seen certain rigs that look immaculate, and then there's this..... Unsoldered Cables, jumbles of power/audio/and control wires going everywhere. It's a recipe for a noisy system that's difficult to trouble-shoot. You'd be surprised just how much a few velcro cable ties can make your system look and sound better.

ADAPTERS!!!!!! Buy yourself a soldering iron and make the cables. Also what's with the spagetti coming out the back. I am a rack builder and that's pretty poor man.

@MrArsenioOro hell I'm getting some pretty good sounds from a marshall micro stack and a boss ME-50 :) lol

I am a huge fan pf DT and mostly petrucci. But I know this is not necesary for only achiving the sound he has. Omg he has more rack units than nasa. For what? a few choruses, a delay and some reverbs? I'm telling you this might discorage a lot of new player that might not understand that in reality you only need one simple preamp with a nice G-Force and a badass cabinet with celestion speakers

@RandomGuyBlake54 its made by axess electronics which is going out of business

@RandomGuyBlake54 no its priceless.. lol. I wish i could find out who built it though
I love how Petrucci just drops his guitar once it's in the gigbag.
