this is an orthodox wedding at an orthodox church. the liturgy, songs, attire, and altar are clearly orthodox

This is Fr. Dr. Jacob Mathew, Ciju's elder brother, who blessed this wedding. Ciju got married at Mar Elia Cathedral, which is the Cathedral Church of the Malankara Orthodox Church. Thank you for posting this into the youtube.

I read some of the comments and many of you sound so ignorant. It is an Orthodox wedding.
A Cathedral is the main Church of a Diocese and it should be located in the city. If you look at Cathedrals in Western countries, they are huge in structure and are located in Cities. Unlike Orthodox and Jacobites, elevated Chapels in to Cathedrals without even knowing the meaning of it. Look at their Cathedrals in Ranni, Konni and Kumbazha. Marthoma Chuch is not that crazy to follow others foolishness.

Its so obvious from the name of the church itself!! Mar Elia Cathedral!! marthomites usualy have churches with names like..Shalom, Bethlehem, Nazreth, Bethlehem..lol:p and cnt u hear Syrian being chanted!!

It seems that you have been misinformed.
Well this is my friends Wedding and he is a Marthomite from Kottayam, the wedding was at the Mar Elia Cathedral that's near Malayala Marorama Press, Kottayam. Actually the main priest who conducted the wedding is his own brother.
