@TheOptickid About relativity, well, I think it's all still relative... We simply don't know as much as we like to think we do. I think the saying goes "There are more things in Heaven and Earth than dreamt of in your philosophy.....".

Ghosts could be aliens in the sense that they may not be from our dimension. I don't believe they are little green men from Zargon 5, well, unless it is possible to travel faster than light....

@Klimbatikifanatiki If you're talking about faster than light neutrinos, they don't invalidate the theory, they expand the theory, just like relativity expanded newtonian physics. Not to mention it's a very well verified theory, that's why GPS works for example.

Are you saying ghosts might be aliens?

@TheOptickid Well, I wouldn't put too much trust in theory of relativity at this moment..... Besides, I think I argue that ghosts are not a dimensional overlap, well, not "historical" ghosts of people who would obviously have been long dead. To me dead is dead. I think what we think of as ghosts are nothing to do with the dead from our world, but more the living from another, maybe, perhaps.........

@Klimbatikifanatiki Events don't happen only in time or in space, they happen in space-time. An event happens at a determined space at a determined time as shown by the theory of relativity. If one goes back in time one has to go back in space as well. If roman soldiers are dimensional overlaps they wouldn't be separate from their universe.

How come people never seem to see ghosts from thosuands and thousands of years ago ? It always seems to be ghosts from the not so long ago.

@tommeasor I too think there is a multiverse, not universe. Though if ghosts were from a parralel universe they would need to move through space at exactly the same speed and direction as us. Any factors that effect our passage through the galaxy would also have to affect them or they would likely appear in deep space, as we would have moved in time and space relative to them. I'm not sure a parralel universe would mirror the movement of planets and solar systems in our universe in that way
