Conrail Shared Assets train WPCA-11 heads northbound on the Pennsgrove Secondary. At the helm, is an beautiful Ex-Erie Lackawanna now Norfolk Southern SD45-2 NS #1701. Following is CSXT SD40-2 #8817 in Conrail Quality paint and Norfolk Southern GP38-2 in Conrail canopener paint#5292.

My apologies for talking during the video. Some girls asked why I was filming the train. I attempted to remain quiet but I knew they would keep asking so I answered them. Anyways, sorry again for the talking as I know it takes away from the quality.

Please take a quick second to comment and rate, thanks I really appreciate it! Thanks again for watching!

Look for more shots of NS #1701 coming soon!!

  • Very Nice Shot

  • It's nice to see the older units in service. Thanks for sharing these HD videos. The sounds and the horns are crisp and clear!

  • That lead unit was a Conrai helper on ex PRR between Johnstown and Altoona for many years.

  • SWEET shot dude! 5*****!

  • really ? Thats sad..... :[ I love the sound of those beast v20s

  • Awesome unit and horn and video. 5* as always.

  • Classic power looks right at home on this train. Is business starting to pick up?

  • Good job and really classic power! That's an amazing catch!

  • @ERIELACKU34CH

I think by now they all have been rebuilt with a 645E3.

  • It's this one if I'm not mistaken!
