Just One More Step....

In this episode of the Outdoor Magazine television show host Mike Avery is bowhunting in Kansas with Ed Barton of B and C Kansas Hunts (http://www.bandckansashunts.com). Avery heads out in early November for what should be a very productive rut hunt, but unseasonably warm weather slows things down. He goes back to Kansas in December and is joined by Pat McKenna of Ameristep (http://www.ameristep.com). Pat takes a beautiful 8pt with his gun, then Mike heads back to the bow blind.
This time the bucks are very active and Avery sees several nice animals....including one beautiful drop tine that needs to take just one more step to present a shot.
